Ghana@60: I intentionally snubbed Lilwin - Agya Koo

Koo and Lin Win
Few days ago, www.entertainmentgh.com reported on the possible cause on why popular actor, Lilwin, could not feature in the play that was put together by Agya Koo and a couple of other Kumawood actors for the Ghana@60 celebration.

Days later, Lilwin, in his bid to downplay his absence from the much-talked-about play, spoke to Hitz FM and stated that, there are no ill-feelings between Agya Koo and himself.

He also went on to state that whoever stated that his absence from the play was the making of Agya Koo was just peddling falsehood.

Over the weekend, legendary actor, Agya Koo, finally let out the real reasons Lilwin did not feature in the drama put together for theGhana@60 celebrations, as reported by zionfelix.com.

Speaking to DJ Roar on Kessben FM in Kumasi, Agya Koo stated that Lilwin exclusion from the cast was intentional and he was behind the move.

“Kojo Nkansah was nowhere to be found when we were struggling for the betterment of the industry. By God’s grace we didn’t work in vain, the industry we are experiencing today is the outcome of our toil yesterday, so Lilwin can’t disrespect me for any reason.”

Aside the disrespect, he also spoke about Lilwin snubbing him over several calls to take part in various projects.

“It hurts when your younger brother ignores your invitations severally with reasons best known to him. I thought it wise to safeguard my reputation this time around by not inviting him. This is why he wasn’t casted.”

Lilwin is yet to respond to the disclosure by Agya Koo!
