According to him, Mahama has no blessing from to lead Ghana and must resist following calls from supporters of the National Democratic Congress [NDC] to lead the party in the 2020 general elections.
He adds, the former President should focus on doing other things that would benefit the good people of Ghana and reject calls by party faithful to lead the NDC in 2020 since attempt to contest President Nana Akufu Addo will lead him into ”total embarrassment.”Owusu-Bempah, however denied claims that he hates Mahama saying, ”I don’t hate John Mahama and he knows that”.
He added, ” He Mahama can’t be a president on this earth again. If he visits any true man of God he will tell him exactly what I have said so he shouldn’t waste his money in 2020”.
”I have advised him and if he takes my advice it will help a lot. Mahama didn’t have any spiritual backing from God hence his failure to impress Ghanaians during his presidency.”
”Mahama is a nice person but I have advised him not to contest for re-elections in 2020 because there is no way he could be elected as President of the republic of Ghana again.”
Rev. Owusu Bempah was speaking on Abusua Nkomo hosted by Kwame Adinkra on Monday in reaction to comments made a session of NDC party members to reconsider John Dramani Mahama as the party’s Presidential aspirant come 2020.
